If you aren't familiar with The Agenda Show, it is the most creative lifestyle fashion trade show in the world. It's made up of street wear, action sports, lifestyle and fashion and takes place in Long Beach, California, as well as in Vegas and NYC. We attend the LB show regularly because, basically, it is the biggest and best of the three.
Agenda is divided into sections - The Berrics, which is a jam packed with every skate streetwear brand you could possibly think of. The Woods is all of the more outdoor wear and lifestyle brands. Then there is Agenda Womens' (newly introduced), which is quickly growing... and of course my favorite section.
When you are at Agenda, everyone there is about work, but with the crowd of brands and attendees, it's also about a good time too. The show isnt a bunch of stuffy suits focused on selling their lot to buyers, they are dedicated players in the fashion game with a love for what they do and enjoy doing it. When you are there, you will run into celebrities and professional skates and surfers. You will run into friends and make quite a few new ones at this 2 day convention.
This time around we were jam packed with brand meetings (didn't even leave time for lunch). We sat down with reps from Volcom, Raen, Eidon, Matisse and more. The day went by so fast, yet we barely were able to scratch the surface of the show. We had only planned on one day, but ended up attending both. What a great place to network and build your brand. We will be there next time, and maybe, just maybe, we may have our own booth.
